With a switch from the autism program back to the LD program at Rippon Middle School, I am looking forward to helping my students progress with the 7th grade Successmaker program, in colab language arts with Mr. Kline, and
U. S. History with Mr. Arnold this year. My educational background includes a B.S. degree in Interior Design from the University of Arizona, a B.S. degree in sociology/psychology from Rollins College, FL, and a Masters degree in Special Education from the University of New Mexico. I taught for many years in Albuquerque, N.M. before moving to Prince William County. I am married, have four adult children, and six grandchildren. One of my sons is twice exceptional, so I have lived with the trials of raising a child with special needs. He now has a lovely family, a Masters degree in architecture, and works in the construction management field in Guam. I have learned that progress is always possible, and I will challenge my students to achieve all that they can. I may be contacted at allenjx@pwcs.edu | |
